Nixxon's Update

This summer is going to be hectic! I am so crazy to think i am going to have enough energy to do school full time at dixie state college plus have a newborn! Our son is due June 25th but we see him coming a little early. He's already over 2 lbs almost 3. He's absolutely perfect, his heart rate is great and the size is just wonderful. We are having an ultrasound April 12th and i am excited to see what he look's like. The last time we saw him was a few weeks ago. I was having pain and just to play it safe we drove to the labor and delivery just to check if i was going into labor or if anything was wrong. After 4 hours they determined i pulled a muscle but the baby was doing great. The nurses were having the hardest time keeping him still so they can moniter his little heart rate. He would wiggle around it, he was so mad lol. We heard him with his little hiccups and it was precious. An ultrasound tech was called in and she was just in aaw of how cute he was. He had fatten up and looked so cute! He has my nose and of course Trent's lips. He has the shape of my face but the little guy look's just like his Daddy. He has his dad's long torso and everything else. I can't wait for April 12th to come!!! I want to see how much he's changed. It's our big 30 week ultrasound and guess what 10 weeks to go and he's here! Were excited! I cannot wait to have him here, like i used to be afraid to stay at home alone because creepy stuff has happened at our place but now i feel better. I'll always have my little boy with me! I am so excited what else can i say! -I will post pics of the next ultrasound!

Family Update!!

Trent and i have been thinking a lot about the future and what we want to do as new parents. We first debated the situation of moving to Salt Lake City so Trent can further his education. But then we thought about moving a baby during January isn't going to be great. I want to stay near my family, i love my sisters and being so far out is sad. So we've decided we are going to stay in St. George and raise our little family here. We plan to buy a house sometime in the future and are very excited for that. We want to raise our son right, if he isn't the greatest player on the team that doesn't even matter. We will be proud of him no matter what. We want to teach him to treat people as you would want to be treated, work hard in school and be the best you can be. We do not expect him to be more than what he can hold for himself. Nixxon, I will always love you no matter what you do in life. I will always be here for you to come talk to and know Dad and i will always love you. You were the greatest surprise and have changed us for the better. So many people love you already and Dad and I cannot wait for you to come. We will be the best parents we can be, and know we will always be here no matter what. Love Mom/Dad - Future note for Nixxon when he can read and understand :)

I cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone by! Nixxon's going to be here before we know it, and good thing we have everything all set up for him! Right down to the daily basics! We love him already, more than he will ever know and we haven't met our little stinker just yet. When we were choosing name's it was the hardest thing we ever had to do! I would choose one name while daddy wouldn't approve or he'd choose and i wouldn't approve! We were going to call you either - Jaxx, Jexx,or River. When we came up with Nixxon we knew that was perfect! I have always loved the name Jace so that's your middle name! He is so active at certain times during the day and i guess he is prepping us for when he will be up and wanting to be held. Nixxon does not like being touched to often, you will see a cute little kick and him move around to avoid being touched again. I just love my little boy, it's crazy how much you love someone that you haven't even met quite yet! Nixxon sure is going to be a handful and daddy reminds me everyday about how he was when he was younger! I can't wait to see what he looks like! Will he take after my side and have dark hair and brown eyes or will he be such a gorgeous mix of daddy's blonde and blue? I would love for him to have blue or green eyes but if he has brown well hey that's more to party with! I had a dream last night that he was born on the most unexpected, busiest day we've ever had! Things happen that way for us though and we will make the very best of it! Oh Nixxon how we can't wait for you!
